New technologies leave ever increasing marks in public space. The gigantic poster blocks the view to the façade and dominates the public space. Oversized light-installations illuminate the town squares and the skies above it. Huge LED-screens send their commercial dispatch to the urban environment.
This semester we want to re-conquer urban space by minimal media interventions by extending existing objects with economic means and intelligent ideas. The interventions have the goal to inspire passers-by to reflect and to react, the interventions should inform and entertain, as well as create individual identities for said locations.
